Members of Trinity Prep and AYLUS Orlando organized a fundraiser for Turkey. We sold root beer floats during lunch to raise this money, this is sale #1. We made around 150 dollars in this initial sale. A group of Trinity Prep students that were part of AYLUS and their families worked hard during the winter break to organize a fundraiser for the victims of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. For the next two weeks (February 21 – March 7), these student leaders will be managing the collection of donations from all interested families.

Opportunities To Help:

Students will place boxes throughout the school campus for the donation of items. The collected items will be later delivered to the Turkish embassy or GEM.
There is also an Amazon Wishlist. All donated items from the wishlist will be delivered to the school’s address, and later collected by a Trinity family and delivered to the Turkish embassy or GEM.
Students will collect small donations at school from the sale of Turkish charms, ice cream/floats, and recent student artwork during lunch breaks.
Several Trinity families helped to create an online fundraiser: The Bridge to Turkey.

AYLUS is extremely proud of our student leaders who are taking the initiative to make a global impact. We support and join them in their efforts.
